The health and well-being of the horses are a focus of equestrian sports. Those responsible for the CHIO Aachen, the world's largest equestrian show, support scientific exchange and founded the CHIO Aachen Scientist Circle in 2023 to scientifically monitor the tournament stabling in Aachen.

Now there is another event that contributes to the continuous development of the sport and animal welfare: On 2 July 2025, the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS, which promotes the right values in handling horses through its training and further education programmes, is organising the education event ‘CHIO Aachen Science Lounge 2025 – Monitoring of the Sport Horse’ in cooperation with ReproTraining – and you are invited!

The event, which is taking place as part of CHIO Aachen 2025, will focus on monitoring sport horses, taking into account modern training and competition monitoring and the regeneration phase. Not only the participating riders, grooms, trainers, horse owners and team managers of CHIO Aachen are invited, but also interested veterinarians. The programme covers various topics:

Following the event, all participants are kindly invited to attend the official launch of “consteed – the smart horse sneaker” in the Champions´ Circle. The innovatively developed horse sneaker analyzes your horse's musculoskeletal system with the integrated sensor technology. 

In the evening at 18.30 h you may experience the best jumping riders in the world in the Turkish Airlines-Prize of Europe, which is the first qualifying competition for the Rolex Grand Prix.

The fee includes a ticket for the jumping competitions at CHIO Aachen on July 2nd and a parking pass.
