CHIO Aachen CAMPUS Science Lounge 2026 – World Championship Vets & Breeders Day
11.08.2026
The health and welfare of horses are the heart of equestrian sport. The organizers of CHIO Aachen – the world’s largest equestrian event – and hosts of this year’s FEI World Championships, are actively promoting scientific exchange. In 2023, they founded the CHIO Aachen Scientist Circle to scientifically monitor and evaluate the stabling conditions at the Aachen event.
Following the great success of the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS Science Lounge 2025, this year’s event focuses on a key future topic: horse breeding. Under the title ”Breeding the equine athlete,” the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS invites you to the World Championship Vets & Breeders Day on 11 August 2026.
In addition to practical lectures on the balancing act between health and performance in sport horse breeding, the management of mares and the monitoring of pregnancy with many case studies, participants can expect an exciting discussion and two days of dressage sport at the highest level – the Grand Prix as part of the World Championships.
The CHIO Aachen CAMPUS, which promotes responsible horsemanship through its training and continuing education programs, is hosting the CHIO Aachen CAMPUS Science Lounge in cooperation with ReproTraining. Whether you are a veterinarian, breeder, rider, or horse enthusiast – you are invited to participate in this exciting event!
